Complete Closing Program Schedule Revealed
The complete Closing Program – a unique lineup of education talks through the lens of SXSW’s other focus areas, Music, Film and Interactive – has been revealed! Bob Santelli, Mimi Ito, and Goldie Hawn will join announced speaker Sal Khan as part of this engaging series of speakers contributing perspectives on the power of education to inspire and impact.

Designer and Educator, Emily Pilloton, to Deliver Wednesday Keynote
SXSWedu is pleased to announce the Wednesday keynote speaker, Emily Pilloton, founder and executive director of Project H Design. Emily’s SXSWedu keynote presentation will explore how design and building can transform lives and communities.

Ann Cotton and Guy Kawasaki Added to the Featured Session Lineup
Two new compelling featured sessions have been added to this year’s series. Ann Cotton, founder and president of Camfed International will explore the field of international development and how data flows from poor to rich communities, from development agencies to donors, and from the governed to the governing. Chief evangelist of Canva, Guy Kawasaki, will provide intensely passionate and personal observations about life’s hindsights and what today’s educators can do to prepare students for a lifetime of joy, enlightenment, and contribution to society.

More Summits Announced
Summits are a new facet of programming coming to SXSWedu in 2015 hosted at the JW Marriott, just two blocks from the Austin Convention Center. Typically lasting longer than a traditional session or workshop, attendees can expect summits to provide a more intimate and collaborative environment. With a variety of voices, goals and formats, no two summit programs are alike.

A Powerful Roster of New Films Confirmed to Screen in eduFILM
The eduFILM program highlights poignant narratives and documentaries focusing on all aspects of education. A long list of new films has just been added to the roster of those screening at SXSWedu 2015, so check out the list of eduFILM screenings now!

Displays Revealed for the Playground
Playground Displays showcase effective learning approaches with an emphasis on innovation through discovery-based learning. This creative and high-energy space provides a platform for organizations to engage with attendees through these stationary displays that remain active for the duration of the Playground.
