Neurodiversity at Work: Transforming every sphere of society for neurodivergent people
This essay is based on the dialogue from our seventh webinar, “Neurodiversity at Work: Transforming every sphere of society for neurodivergent people.”
Introduction
In this session of the NeuPoteKen Webinar series, Kohei Kato moderated an engaging discussion between two prominent advocates for neurodiversity inclusion. Yuki Ichida has been spearheading efforts for the inclusion of neurodivergent people in Japan’s workforce. Oswin Latimer has been a prominent advocate for policy change in government, education, and public infrastructure for over 20 years. In this webinar, we explored our guests’ experiences with advocacy work in Japan and the US, respectively, and their predictions for the future of neurodiversity and society. From this conversation, we hope to learn from each other about how to support effective societal transformation in our respective communities.
